Myth Makers - The Trojan War
"Beware the Greeks bearing gifts" - Helen of Troy
Join us for Shakespearience's BRAND NEW curriculum, Myth Makers, where we explore famous myths from around the world.
Myth Makers presents our 1-week theatrical journey to Troy! During the week, we plunge into the epic and ancient Greek tale of the Trojan War. Join Kitty and the Shakespearience team for the story of betrayal and heroism, cowardice and courage, and a small problem with a horse.
This theatre camp is instructed by award winning theatre professionals, and is a good fit for your young artist if:​​

they do well with and enjoy teamwork & partnering

they can participate independently
-
they do well with receiving enthusiastic direction and re-direction
-
they understand that plays and stage combat are about storytelling, trust and working together
Cumulative partner-based work, daily participation is crucial. Performance on the final day! This camp takes place at Old Mill Park.

Hamlet
"This above all: to thine own self be true" - Polonius
Join Kitty and the Shakespearience team for this 2-week production camp of Shakespeare's masterpiece. Through the theatrical lens, we will take a deep dive into the fray of Hamlet's story with its moral dilemmas, heroism and villainy, and the greatest question of all time..."To be or not to be". Camp focuses on ensemble acting, text work and stage combat with a concentration on broadsword for a full company melee!

Join Kitty and the Shakespearience team for this 1-week production camp of our flagship workshop, summer camp edition! Throughout the week we will be exploring Shakespeare's finest sword fighting scenes and sublime soliloquies. Camp focuses on ensemble acting, text work and stage combat with a concentration on broadsword for a full company melee!
